Whoo boy!

I just mentally sat back and calculated just how much I've had to drink today since I got to Ken's. I think I just might be drunk. This is decent bourbon that Ken's brought in here - I wonder if he's written any songs I've heard? Maybe an anime theme or two?

Nah - probably just idol singer crapola. Although, I shouldn't knock it - the bourbon is quite nice.

Ken told Yoko EVERYTHING??!!??!?

I hope my old friend is right about this. The number of people who know my secret is very small these days and that's with good reason. Ke'ns always been a good judge of character but I wasn't expecting this...

Ah, bliss...

So I've now met Ken's wife Yoko. She's pretty, strict, and kind of funny too. Who'd have thought Ken could pull that off?

Tanaka's place

It's a nice looking apartment building, and it looks like he's on the top floor. Big unit too, from the look of it. Well, I'm here, I'm tired, just spent 11 hours in the air and another 2 in a car. Might as well go in and introduce myself...

And at last I've arrived!

There it is, the apartment building that's going to be my new home! I'm grateful that Ken has opened up his home to me like this - he didn't have to do it. I wonder how he managed to convince Yoko to let me stay - considering that I've never even met her.

What the hell was I thinking? I got involved with stopping a purse thief and nearly let slip my own secret in the process! Maybe I'm jet-lagged. I don't know. I think I fixed everything but to slip up like that after only being here a few hours?

What I do know is that I need to get to Ken's so that I can relax!

You know, I thgought it would be cute to post these things in the timeline of the story, but I have to be honest, it's getting to be a pain to maintain - this entire first chapter takes place in a single day, for example, but there are a lot of pages left to come. So when these resume next week (after Corbin finishes what he's doing now) they will post the same day as the comic it corresponds to.
